Here is a unique opportunity to obtain a 20 channel Calrec M-series console. As far as we are aware this console is complete except for 2 missing input modules.
Desk includes:
- 18 x PQ 1253-6 input modules
- 20 x CR 1417 routing modules
- 1 x 1450-2 oscillator
- 4 x DL 2716 compressor/limiter
- 1 x BL1265
- 2 x external racks
- 2 x ZN 1293 Desk PSU
- 1 x ZN 1296 Logic PSU
This console has been out of commission for many years and hence it will definitely need some refurbishment. However, these are not the most complex of desks and it does seem to have pretty comprehensive manuals and original specification documentation. If you don't have a tame Calrec guru on tap we can recommend one.
Cosmetically the cassettes look very good, there are no side trims or back panels fitted to the desk we believe that this is because in it's original installation it was slotted into a narrow gap. It does have a few of the coloured dots missing from the knob caps, however, it comes with a bag of spares that include more than enough of these in all the colours and sizes, and also some spare knobs.
We originally bought this board with the intention of racking up the modules but we've realised that we are never going to get round to it and a these things are now so rare it might actually be a better option to sell it as a console.
